"That's right," said Elisabeth. She waited patiently for the Winsome Witch to give it to her but, when the Witch remained silent, she pressed on. "Will you give it to me? Please?"
"The words I'll surely tell To chant my little spell But they won't work too well." |
"Why not?" asked Elisabeth.
"You'll say the words today And then be on your way To a land far away." |
"Well, I'm not really sure how far away my home is," said Elisabeth. "My parents have taken me to some pretty far away places in Felicity, and I've never seen this place before, so I guess it could be pretty far from my house. I will have to go home soon, or my parents will start to worry about me, but I can say the spell before I go."
