At this summoning, the Gryphon rose up from his nest and spread his magnificent wings out to their full span of four metres. He addressed his words in the vague direction of Elisabeth and the Triceratops.

"There was a young miss from the Coves
Who came here to solve faerie woes
         She called first upon
         Her friend the Gryphon
To show her the way the wind blows."

"Actually," said Elisabeth, "I was hoping you could tell me where I might find the Winsome Witch."

"As I said, you young impudent miss
There's a Valley of soft Zephyr's Kiss
         In which your witch lives
         And to all wisdom gives
Just follow the night wind's soft hiss."

"Thankyou, Mr. Gryphon! Thankyou very much!" exclaimed Elisabeth. She wanted to leave for the Valley of the Zephyr's Kiss right away, because she didn't know how many more of the Gryphon's goofy limericks she could take.

"I am glad to have been of some aid
In the quest of so valiant a maid
         Now don't be a stranger
         The world's filled with danger
But the flight path to my home's well laid."

Elisabeth waved goodbye to the Gryphon, as the Triceratops took off flying at top speed in the direction which the Gryphon had indicated.
